I am very excited about the upcoming school year and all of the learning adventures we are going to embark on. This week I read aloud the book titled "First Day Jitters" by Julie Danneberg. We all discussed the meaning of the word "jitters" and we brainstormed synonyms for this word. We then shared first day jittery experiences and used these as our topics for our first writing sample of the year.
